Lara played Kalonika in LYSISTRATA (Eyewitness Theatre Company, Canada), Juliet in ROMEO AND JULIET (Cleverpants Theatre Company, Barcelona) and Algernon Moncrieff/Miss Prism in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST (Manchester Central, Canadian tour). Winner of Best of Festival, Edmonton and Winnipeg.
TELEVISION & FILM
Credits include lead role Victim in CRIMEWATCH (BBC), Jane Green in MURDER GAME (BBC) and Good Time Girl in the advertising campaign for SHERYL CROW'S GREATEST HITS (Fold7). Lara made her film debut as lead role Katherine in the feature HIGHLY STRUNG for the award winning (Anonymous Room).
VOICEOVER
Lara has lent her voice to five series of HELLO FREDDY, THE LEARNING LADDER and FAIRY STORIES over eight years. Roles include Narrator and numerous characters - including songs – (Cambridge University Press) directed by Nora McDonald, and Selt Publishing, directed by Elspeth Tavici. Lara also played Casta Castrensis in TALKING GRAVESTONES (Centre Screen Productions) directed by Dave Postlethwaite.
