WHO
At present we are ONLY seeking applications from the following:
- MALE ACTORS AGED 45+ (Please see Senior Membership)
- MALE & FEMALE ACTORS FROM A VARIETY OF ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS
- MALE ACTORS 18-25 (Please view our actors to note any potential clashes and please state any additional skills you could bring to North of Watford)
We always aim to meet the needs of our clients and will update you here with any changes.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- All successful applicants will be asked to complete a probationary period of 15 full staffing days and attend meetings. Full membership is then subject to a vote.
- Office skills are essential but each new member will be assigned two Mentors to guide them and offer expert advice and training throughout the probationary period.
- We offer a SENIOR MEMBERSHIP. All actors over the age of 70 are not required to staff the office. Further details will be given on application.
- All our actors must be professionally trained/experienced with a proven track record in the industry.
- All our actors must be members of The Spotlight and are encouraged to become members of Equity.
- Upon offer of full membership, applicants will be asked to pay a one off fee of £100 towards their set up within the agency. This includes administration costs, marketing and website promotion.
- When not working in the industry and paying commission, all members are required to staff our office in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire for three full days every month. Our office hours are 10am - 6pm. Our members are responsible for up to 30 professional careers.
- We hold several meetings every year at our Hebden Bridge office. Members are required to attend a minimum of 3 meetings, including the AGM.
We believe our strength lies in our knowledge of each other. We hold regular social events and a yearly team building weekend. We are always seeking to improve.

MEETING US
If your application is successful, you will be invited to an interview/audition. These are held every few months at our Hebden Bridge office.
You will be asked to perform a short piece and an unaccompanied song or second contrasting piece. We will ask you to sight read and then have an informal chat.
An offer of a probationary contract will be determined by vote and all interviewees will be contacted with our decision.
