The Hebden Bridge Arts Festival

We fully support and participate in our local festival that runs every year from 25th June - 10th July. Our members Lisa Allen, Gail Burland, Gemma Ryan, Dan Carey and Barrie Ryan English have all performed in the 'Hebden Shorts' alongside actors such as Bernard Wrigley, Paul Opacic, Dominic Brunt, Mark Charnock and Ursula Holden Gill. The pieces are a collection of short plays by Emmerdale writers Mark Illis, Stephen May and P. McCarthy, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street writers Paul Coates and Dave Simpson, National theatre writer Anna Clarkson and Silent Witness writer Stephen Brady. Directors have included Polly Thomas, Joyce Branagh and Ben Jancovich, Sophia Rashid, Paul Murphy, Alice Bartlett, Kath Mattock and Susan McGeorge.
