North of Watford client Menyee Lai has been cast in season two of the Liverpool-based, BAFTA award-winning The Responder.
Written by former Merseyside Police officer Tony Schumacher, The Responder stars Martin Freeman and will return to the BBC next year.
The Responder is made by Dancing Ledge Productions and exec-produced by Laurence Bowen, Chris Carey and Toby Bruce with casting by Robert Sterne.
Teasing what’s to come in The Responder season two, creator and writer Tony Schumacher previously told RadioTimes.com: “These characters have grown and the situations have changed slightly. Where they live has changed slightly. Everything has just shifted.
“I want them to do new things and move forward.”
