North of Watford client Alex Colley is set to appear in the new boxing biopic Giant, opposite Pierce Brosnan.

The film will chart the rise of British boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed, portrayed by Amir El-Masry, from his humble beginnings as a child in Sheffield to sports superstardom.

Directed by Rowan Athale and produced by Sylvester Stallone, Giant is due for a worldwide cinematic release later this year.

Executive producer Zygi Kamasa said Giant is “dramatic, visceral and inspiring, with incredible boxing scenes”.
