North of Watford client Lisa Allen is set to appear in Funny Woman, when the hit comedy returns to Sky for a second series.

The series sees Gemma Arterton star as the lead character, Barbara Parker – the force of nature who takes 1960s London by storm.

Other names include Rupert Everett, David Threlfall, Tom Bateman, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Arsher Ali, Alexa Davies, Emily Bevan, Leo Bill, Matthew Beard, Olivia Williams and Rosie Cavaliero.

Lisa begins filming next year.
