North of Watford client Ali Mylon has been cast in the latest season of the UK smash-hit period drama Call the Midwife.

Produced by Neal Street Productions for the BBC, Call the Midwife chronicles a group of nurse midwives working in the East End of London in the late 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

The series began in 2012, has won more than 20 major awards and continues to be a mainstay on British TV and around the world.
